Overview

This trips special designed for travellers who wishing to learn more about the real Balinese cultural.

Our guide will lead you to the traditional Balinese compound and witness the daily life of the Balinese family, walk through the village and enjoy Bali’s fertile region highlighting the heritage, traditional agricultural practice and complicated design of Balinese irrigation system(subak) helping you to understand fully how and where to local people forge their simple existence.

The trek start from Sayan, Ubud. Our trekking guide will pick you up at the lobby hotel, then drive you to our private restaurant to enjoy the local breakfast.

After breakfast our local guide will lead you to discover amazing historical sites, visit the ancient temple and simply enjoy the natural beauty of Bongkasa rice terrace, Ayung river valley and distant mountain. Toward the bamboo bridge to across Ayung river.

The trek duration 4 hours approximate 7 km. Lunch will served at the end of the tour at 12 noon in our private garden Balinese compound.

Pickup Time:

Nusa Dua area: 7.00 am – return 3.00 pm
Kuta area: 7.00 am – return 2.30 pm
Ubud area: 7.30 am – return 2.00 pm

Great food and trekking the rice terrace

My wife and I had an amazing experience and our driver Surya, was amazing. Not only was he an amazing driver but also a great guide, that had great knowledge about the ancient temples. He was extremely patient and friendly and was also interested in not only teaching us abiutbhis culture but learning about our culture as well. Whe booking this tour, make sure to ask for Surya, 5 star service from him. Our favorite part was the trekking at Jatiluwih Rice Terrace.

An excellent tour of Ubud and more!

The whole activity was a mix of the best places to visit in Ubud and around. Our guide 'Surya' was very friendly and professional at the same time. With his knowledge, tips and humor, he was definitely the best part of the whole tour. The tour was also very flexible, taking our time and requests into consideration. Best tour of Bali!

Surya was the best tour guide. He provided humour and immense knowledge when conducting the tour and gave us an incredible day out. He was a very safe driver and the vehicle was air conditioned and very comfortable

Ubud rice fields, Swing, waterfalls

We started the tour hoping to see waterfalls, rice fields and swing. But the experience we got was beyond. And the excellent experience we had was because of our driver’s hospitality- Surya. He was very kind, considerate, pretty knowledgeable, easy to communicate with. Breathe taking water falls, excellent food, loads of pictures, what else can one expect 😊 Excellent overall experience.

Ubud Tour with Surya

We were picked up by Surya for the Ubud tour in which we visited Tirta Temple, Tegalalang Rice Terraces (including the Jungle swing), the Sacred Monkey Forest, and Tegenungan Waterfall. Surya was a fantastic host for the day, showing us the best of Ubud, and sharing his knowledge of each location. We would fully recommend Surya for this tour as he was very accommodating, helpful, kind and ensured we had the best time throughout the day. Thank you Surya!
